The What and the Why....

I have created and worked with plenty of props that include lights and simple wiring layouts. However, I do not have the time to delve into the more complex setups that I'd like to. The fact that I make props from such a broad range of genres as well as original items, means that I am constantly having to sacrifice one area for another. Customer projects are always first priority and that keeps me busy enough. So, development of "new stuff" always suffers and often takes much longer than I'd like.

What I'm looking for is someone with the skills (and time on their hands) to take over much of the research involved into the electronics end of things.

For example...Say I need several lights in a prop and they must blink in a certain sequence. They also must be the correct intensity and a voltage that is compatible. I've had situations like this before and it often requires a LOT of time researching where to find the lights, cost comparison, and possibly even experimentation into whether it all works. Time I just don't have. What I just gave you was an example of the kind of work I need done but there's also much more complicated things as well.

Now, let me stress that I am not looking for an "employee". Our business is not at a stage where we're ready to do something like that. I am open to the type of compensation for the work but it would be result oriented.  Sending me an email with a link to a site where I can find cheap LEDS for a project is not what I'm talking about. A result would be if I needed a electronics setup and you gave me a parts list of what's required, where to get said parts, instructions and/or diagrams on assembly, and maybe even a prototype.
